1894 short rifle

I know, you need pictures. But I am just looking for an estimate. Remember before the internet, we were buying guns from Shotgun News and the Gun List with just a two line description and no pictures. I bought and sold many.

I am looking at an 1894 short barrel rifle, 20″ made 1902. 32 Special. Take down, 70% condition, wood and metal untouched up, just normal aging. VG bore. Excellent markings. With Lyman 21 sight. It has a dovetail, so probably not original, but looks the age of the gun. $1800. Sound about right?

Very reasonable! If it was/is letterable ,that’s where a Cody museum membership pays for itself…. Email Jessi and see if it matches… or it it’s a ‘custom’ job
