Thanks for the add, i joined here hopefully to find out some information on a recently purchased
model 94 30-30. According to the serial number it is a 1964 model. Have not shot it or taken it apart.
on the left side it has 11 screws on the right side it has 2, Never seen one with so many screws on the
one side. anyone can school me on what i got?
would have posted pic but not sure how to.

Can you provide a clear picture of the left side of the receiver frame?
This is what a 1964 production Model 94 receiver frame should look like… only (8) screws.
