I sold one almost identical to that not long ago for 900 at an ogca show, and it was the highest offer I had all weekend. Everyone basically said common configuration, descent condition, but nothing really special. The bore was really nice too. I think your right on the money with your price, but with the crazy bidding online, one never knows.
Hello Tony,
The seller may be correct about the online value that he may be able to realize. And I have no problem with that. If someone out there wants to spend that amount of money it is none of my business. I would put the gun in the $1000 range for MY money. But that is only my valuation of it. That does not make it the “word of some god” as an absolute correct number. And regarding the additional costs for him. The buyer is responsible for shipping, and only he has to have an FFL receive the rifle and thus pay for it. Not the seller/sender.
