OfflineI shot my 1892 for the first time today. It was a great time. It grouped well but shot very high. At 50 yards with a 6 oclock hold it was 6 inches high on a 3 inch dot. At 100 yards it was 10 inches high. Are these the correct sights for a 1906 SRC in 44WCF?
I’d like to add a taller front sight blade.
Thanks, Tony

Buckinghams in Brazil TN would have a ton of those sights
I do not believe that Buckingham’s still exists. Old Albert passed away a good number of years ago, and I believe that his entire collection of parts & sights was auctioned off.

I have Axil reproduction sights from the 1950’s… still in original cellophane wrapping. I also have a King “Triple Bead” sight that is made for that rifle. Ben
Ben, do you have any other Axtel sights? I met the guy in Greeley that bought out all the Axtel stuff when his wife sold everything off but he doesn’t have anything to sell.
