Search “Winchester 92″ on YouTube. You’ll find a decent video (sort by most recent and look for the video that’s almost 4 hours long!) that recently showed up, with a real gunsmith going over the operation and assembly of the Model 1892. It’s based on a recently manufactured copy, but he explains the minor differences compared to the original model quite well.
You have to wade thru the extras, but I think you’ll find that it’s comprehensive. Start at about the 10:45 point of the video for the meat & potatoes.
