I’m trying to determine if this is the fancy .33 cal solid frame, half magazine (deluxe) of if it is a lightweight (how the guy is advertising it). Also, I know the pics he sent me aren’t the best and I can’t make out the full serial number, but he states it is manufactured 1914. What would you grade/value this at. It looks to me like the receiver finish is gone, but I am understanding 30% condition value to be 1784 for the solid frame or 2613 for the lightweight per the redbook. What do you think? Thanks!
I’m with Chuck on the checkering, there is no border along the tang edge, the checkering runs right off the edge of the stock. That is not factory work. I believe it to be a checkering job done by a beginner. It does not have fancy wood. Certainly not a deluxe. As Chuck stated, call Cody…..

That is a standard Model 1886 33 WCF rifle. There is no such thing as a Model 1886 “Lightweight”. If the barrel length is 22-inches versus the standard 24-inches, it would be an “Extra Lightweight”.
As the other fellos have mentioned, the checkering is not factory work. As for the graded condition, 30% would be a very generous rating. The real world value of that rifle is approximately $1,250.
