I have a Winchester. 1886 45-70 that has bolt damage.  If I replace it will I have to have a bolt for the 45-70 or can I use the parts from mine in any bolt for a 1886?

Jerry,

The bolt from a 33 WCF, 38-56 WCF, 40-65 WCF, and 45-90 WCF are all the same as the 45-70.
