I’m new here its my first post so hello everyone, I’m working on a low wall in .32 RF its a takedown. First one with a Fly on the hammer, its also the coil spring model. when you drop the lever to load than raise the lever the hammer skips over the sear, the fly is causing this. The hammer can be brought back into full cock afterward. Is this normal. Thank you all.

Paul,

Yes, that is normal for the coil-spring actions. The hammer is supposed to stop in the 1/2-cock (safety) notch versus Full cock as the older flat-spring actions do.
