Can anyone provide me with any information on the two rifles listed below?  My father had them listed as 30/30s, but that is not possible.  I think they were 45/70s.  Thank you very much for your time and help!

I highly suspect that both of the rifles are Model 94 commemoratives, and that they are chambered for to 30-30 Winchester cartridge.  Pictures of them would positively answer the question.

I bet this is correct, and IIRC, the serial number probably starts with “CN” or some other similar letter combination that matches the commemorative designation.
