That’s how I would describe it as well. Adding in the terribly sanded wood, the whole gun makes me feel sick. It’s very sad to see what this ’76 has been reduced to. I see it is a penny auction with no reserve. Predictions on final bid price?

Yep, see that now after looking at the photos on a screen larger than my phone, the barrel stamp even looks worst.

Agreed it is horrible. Having said that the seller Locust Fork is a Moderator on the Gunbroker forum. The thing is she doesn’t know anything about guns or originality. I purchased a gun from her years ago and am very happy. Her pictures are good enough to tell what you are getting so that is at least something good. Just saying that she truly doesn’t know what is original or not and just adds sales puffery like “good as it gets”. Buyer beware!

She definitely wasn’t trying to hide anything, every flaw seems to be highlighted.
