I need a forarm for my 1873 22. Could somebody tell me what calibers will work It is a number 1 barrel

Jerry,

The first 22 caliber 73’s were built from 38 caliber rifles. so it would use a 38 caliber forearm and then depending on if its round or octagon barrel. 73’s never had a number X barrel rating system like the 85’s.

Jerry, are you trying to match the color and condition of the butt stock? If so include pictures and the precise width of the barrel at the breech end and forearm end will help on size. T/R
