Based on what I can see in the one picture (no blue remaining) and assuming by “barrel is excellent” you mean the bore since I can see pitting on the barrel and it does have the wrong rear sight elevator (made after 1900), and I assume it does not have a set trigger. Its worth $2000 to $2200 assuming it hasn’t been refinished in the past. The gun was made in 1892. You can get the factory warehouse records from the Cody firearms Museum for a cost which will give you the configuration as it shipped along with the date it entered and shipped from the warehouse. As to other information and rarity you would have to be more specific and give me more detailed info about the guns current configuration i.e. barrel length, did it have a case hardened receiver and does it have a set trigger. Some of these questions can be answered with good close up pictures of the gun.
