Bob,

You being the foremost authority here on the model 73, I like many others have learned a lot from you as you have helped me, and many others, on more than one occasion. You’re knowledge is second to none, on the 73. IMO! With that being said, I was guessing more around the $2,000.00 range, for this honest representative, in the harder to find, .22 caliber 73, rifle. It’s nice that it has the paperwork to go with it, verifying the configuration. I’m sure that the rarity of the rifle, in this caliber, and the mere fact, that less than 20,000 we’re mfg. out of the over 720,000 total mfg rifles. The fact that it wears the Octagon barrel, also helps it. IMO!
