Bill,

The Henry rods were wood. The metal rods were never marked and there are a lot of repos out there to the point that the originals are not worth much. You could tell some repos by the machining and little tell tales but they have gotten to the point you can’t tell the difference and if they age the repos you can’t tell.

Thanks, I’ve got a purported ( aren’t they all ) set and close inspection appears to show original, but my eye isn’t the one to bet on !
