Hi, Model 71, S# 24466, 348 win., bolt peep, took off scope mount, leather butt cover is over 1/2″ black extension and modern recoil pad to cover the ‘uglies’. I didn’t like the look but it does make it shoot nice…

Can you tell me if it has a crowned or a flat muzzle face?
The serial number puts it manufacture date is very early 1947.
