Thanks Vince! We are happy to see him finally even with the sleep deprivation.
thanks Bert. proxibid was kind enough to give me the heads up on those. Also got a couple of new ones off of Gunbroker.
limestone304 – thanks for the addition – I am assuming it is a plain rifle with stock sporting sights, etc.? What are the barrel markings and the tang markings? Thanks!
WACA No. 9886. Constantly learning about Model 1907 and Model 1910 Self-Loading Rifles.
Found an interesting 1910 located at the Texas Ranger Museum. Owned by Ray Hamilton – associate of Bonnie and Clyde – taken off of him after being arrested by Sheriff Schmitt in April of 1934. So these were also used by the bad guys like the 1907. I wonder how much more popular they would have been with a 10 round magazine?

Sn 11017 – with what markings and what other characteristics, i.e., recoil pad? Added sights? Plain or deluxe wood? Etc. thanks!
I am sorry but I don’t have any information about what I A P refers to.

Sorry, I haven’t been as communicative as I should be. I am still accumulating data on 1910 rifles, albeit slowly. We are up to 232 rifles so far and not alot of variation. There seems to be quite a few rifles that are repeats on the list, being sold early on and then coming up for sale again a year or more later. Please keep sending me info.
Best,
John

John,
Here is one you may not have. Serial number is 6705. Tang is marked “1910”. The last patent date on the barrel is 1910. Front sight is marked “Lyman”, and is probably a #3. Rear sight is a Winchester #22 flat top. This is a standard rifle with no special features, and no later modifications.

Hi, I own Winchester model 1910sl ser# 3690, it is a beautiful full deluxe rifle, engraved. Fancy scroll with Moose in Forrest on the left side and fancy scroll running stag on right , top of receiver engraved as well as small parts. The rifle is drilled and tapped for the Lyman #45 peep sight. The rifle is in approximately 95% condition, with a small crack at bottom of forearm. Hope this helps in your research.
