Recently read an article about a hunting trip Babe Ruth made to southern Nova Scotia in 1937.The article said Babe used a Winchester .401 rifle on the trip.There was a picture of Babe and a couple of other fellows ,standing in front of the Babe’s Stutz Bearcat car.With the men in the picture were a moose,three deer and a bear.Also ducks and upland birds.

Up to 113 rifles so far. There have been a few that showed up in more than one auction several years apart. Only seven fancy/deluxe examples including one presentation or uber-fancy example. Not a lot of variation in this model so far.
