Hey Gary,

Do you have this one in your survey?  I really like the configuration and condition of this one.  A bit pricey though.

Hi Don

No, that is a new one for the survey. At first glance, it’s a nice configuration but the crescent butt does not match the letter……. and did you notice the extra screw in the end of the butt plate? I’m not sure I’ve seen that before. Although it mostly matches the letter, I think it’s had some work over the years. Not sure where that valuation came from either, but someone will buy it …. just not me Smile.

Thanks Don, she’s in the survey now.

Good catch regarding the letter discrepancy with butt plate–I missed that.  Strange regarding the extra scew too.  I really like the looks of the half-octagon on a short rifle, especially with a full magazine.

I agree, the half-octagon in a short rifle may handle better than the half-octagon 26″ rifles. Leroy and Mark are never shy about asking top dollar but they generally have some pretty good stuff. Good catch on the letter issue, Gary. Quite honestly I’d rather have the shotgun butt if I planned on shooting it.
