Did anyone follow the Little Johns Auction? At least 50 M1 Garands sold. Several went for over $10,000. There were some early gas traps and a couple of the experimental 22-06’s. I was able to get 2 Winchesters. There was a beautiful civilian Lee Navy musket.
Not a collector of Garands any longer, but I did manage to save a real nice WIN-13. Big Larry

Didn’t follow the auction, but I believe some of the military firearms were from the Joe Poyer collection.
Joe Poyer’s guns were and are being sold by Carol Watson’s Orange Coast Auctions. Some are being sold on the 9th and 10th of this month. Little John sold the Lance King collection.
Since I am a Winchester collector I wanted a Garand. I have a US Colt 1911 and now have completed my Military collection. I have a Carbine, Hotchkiss, Lee Navy and Winder musket that are US marked too.

Here’s a nice WIN-13 that was given to me as a gift quite a few years ago. It is 100% correct. Not for sale, just for show. Big Larry
