Asked a friend who has collected ammo for over 50 years and he said it was a “fantasy-made up” item. These first starting appearing on the market around 10 or so years back. Also confirmed “not original” by another 40+ year Winchester employee/shot shell collector who has one of the most definitive shell collections. Again, totally FAKE…

There’s a LOT of such phony stuff in circulation–from the scores of fake belt-buckles to the “Red Setter” brand shot-shell box I once fell for! The crooks who dream up these fakes ought to be handed over to ISIS.

At first glance, to me it looked fake, I’ll be it a good fake though. Glad someone else thinks so as well.
