Winchester Collectors:

If you are familiar with Winchester rifle/shotgun cabinets like the one in the attached photos, I would appreciate the opportunity to connect with you.

Thank you.

Very nice cabinet.  I don’t believe it was made by Winchester but it is definitely old and well built.

That is likely an early 1900s to 1920s wood cabinet that someone etched the glass with the word Winchester. Could of been done in the 1950s or even yesterday.

It is a beautiful cabinet, but I don’t consider an original Winchester item.

Sincerely,

Maverick

Nice! Will let you know if I find two, first one’s mine! It resembles a china cabinet made 70 to 100 years ago.

I believe it is a converted china cabinet. Fourth photo from bottom shows the strip of wood along the right rear corner that I believe would have held the original shelves. It would complement my old china cabinet if I had room.

It does, though few I’ve seen (or maybe none) exhibit that level of quality.  Only thing I don’t care for is the etching, which obscures a clear view of the contents.

Responders:

Thanks to each of you; I sincerely appreciate your comments and perspectives.

I am tracing the cabinet’s provenance and will report to this group when I learn something definitive.

Thanks again,

Mark Ogden
