Winchester Model 1897 Shipping Crate|Winchester Memorabilia|Forum|Winchester Collector

Here is a Winchester shipping crate that I just picked up at a collectibles show in the Chicago area.  Since the Model 1897 designation was changed to Model 97 in 1921 I’m guessing that this is from the 1900’s – 1910’s time frame.  Box currently has 4 small antique metal castors and an improvised top to make it into a coffee table.  There are no inside partitions.
