Hey Guys and Gals
I was at a little show yesterday and picked this Winchester scabard up and would like to know what model or rifle this came from or was it something Winchester put out that anyone could buy.
Thanks, Ed

Knowing the size might help, but I doubt it. Looks generic to me.

It’s 42" long open and 34 1/2 with flap closed. This came out of the Winchester plant in Cobourg Canada and I know the guy I bought it from. It’s original Winchester and not a repro.
Thanks

There was one like that posted in a Gun Broker Auction a few weeks ago. It went along with one of the Commemorative Model 94 Winchesters. Seller said it came with the Winchester Model 94 Commemorative.

I would like to learn about the Winchester plant in Cobourg (Ontario?). Will someone please guide me to the proper source?

There was related items available for extra purchase with Commemeratives and an order form was included in the box. I ordered a Scabbard and wall rifle display rack and Winchester wall clocks with the John Wayne 32-40 from 1981
I dont think many were sold as they were fairly pricey accessories.
I think my John Wayne scabbard is slightly different than yours, Its in storage and wont be able to check it for a couple weeks, but it is quite similar

As a follow-up I checked my scabbard and it does not have the fold over flap , and is embossed into leather " Winchester Model 94 John Wayne Commemerative
