He is asking $275. Is that a fake Winchester buckle, or was it really made by Winchester?

I guess $250 for that buckle is a steal. As seeing how this one went for $515.00.

The buckle sold on eBay is the "proof" buckle that the others were made from. That’s the same buckle we discussed in the first thread. Apparently, he sold it and did pretty well. I was fairly well convinced from that discussion, that Winchester did indeed authorize (or whatever term you use) the manufacture of these buckles. However, I still consider them modern.

That would make sense, expect that the Ebay listing ended prior to the 1st posting of the 1st thread of this topic of discussion. And I’m still not a 100% convinced Winchester authorized its manufacture. Even if it was a "proof". And they are most certainly modern.
