Late to post but my opening day (12/19) Kansas whitetail with 4 digit .308. Collector value is nil, with recoil pad, push button sling attachments, but it is my favorite. Redfield 2X7 with a post; 150 yds with 165 gr BTSP. Took a button buck (antlerless tag) the second day. I packed a couple of mags worth of ammo for the trip but only used 2 rds.
