Just wondering what calibre other Winchester shooters reload the most for their Winchester firearms?
For myself it would be the .30-30, followed closely by the .32 Winchester Special.

Just depends on which project interests me at the moment; these days it’s the 32-40.

I load for every Winchester I ever owned 50-110, 50-95; 45-75, 45-60, 40-60, 45-90, 45-70, 40-82, 40-70, 40-65, 38-56, 348, 38-55, 44-40, 38-40, 32-20, 25-20, 32-40, 300HH, 270. My 1866’s have been the exception, I’m working on that. The caliber I load the most is the last one I buy, until I get a good load. The fun for me is working out the perfect load for each gun.
There’s something special about loading my own cartridges that trips my trigger. T/R
By far 38-55 over any other cartridge I load for. A close second would be 38-40.

TR – that’s a good list… but there’s no .33 WCF or .32 Special… a typo?
Steve, I did do 33 WCF but never did 30 or 32 special, I guess it was to cheap and easy to buy at the time. I have been cleaning brass and thinking about it since the shortage. T/R

Indeed, .30 WCF and .32 Special sure aren’t too cheap now!

Call Little Johns Antique Arms. Talk to Aiden. They have about 5 boxes of 32 Win Spl. Couple are old factory and others look like new reloads or once shot.
In order of most to least:
.44-40, .30-30, .32 Special, .25-20
I also load .444 Marlin, 9mm, and others for other brands
I was at the loading bench this morning. Working on .38-40, .44-40 and .45 Colt. This experience reminded me of how much easier loading the .45 Colt is over the .38-40 and .44-40.

Thanks, Steve. I’ve been itching to get into my loading room. Need to start with a casting session or two. 45 Colt is indeed pleasant to load, I load it single-stage like all my rifle and carbine cartridges. I need to make some .380 (38-55) bullets, thought I had some but they won’t turn up until I make more. Haven’t figured out which bullet my rifles like. Time to get back on that project!

I just sized up at batch of .33 WCF and added them to the tumbler. .32-40 is next.
45-70 Gov. is the only one I reload for my Winchesters. I keep all my gun leather full of rounds for esthetic/display reasons and I love the look of brass. However, I hate verdigris because I do actually shoot and don’t want that gumbo in my guns. I could not find a retailer of nickeled brass rounds, but I could find the nickeled brass. So it was off to the races. I have about a 1k rounds. I just learned how to reload last year and I bought all the one-at-a-time, slow-method Lee Loader stuff and take my time.
I reload .45 Colt and .45 ACP for my sidearms.
P.S. I load the starting data, not hot, and don’t tweak for performance.

Take it from an old-school cop, Huck, automotive paste wax will keep that brass shiny in belt loops for awhile. Also using polish in the case cleaner helps. In 45 ACP I tune the load to the gun(s), in 45 Colt I load “fun” loads that are somewhat milder than “BP level” loads, BP loads and Rhino Roller hunting loads for my Ruger. The BP loads demonstrate why the 45 Colt was the 44 Mag of it’s day, it’s a handful but a hoot to shoot! 45 Colt and 45-70 are two of the most versatile rounds I’ve ever loaded.
