I load 110, 150, 162, 165, 168, and 175 grain bullets for my three different 30-06 rifles. I once toyed with the idea of loading 180 and 220 grain, but I decided to leave those bullets for my 30-40 Krag rifles. As of today, I have not ever tried the 125 or 140 grain bullets, but I have some one hand should I ever get the urge.

I loaded some Hornady Spire Point 180’s when I thought the big piggies needed a bit more killing than their 165 delivered. Cool thing was the 165 and 180 had almost same point of impact at 100 yards so no need to re-zero or allow for the different bullets.

I just bought 1000 carton of cci large pistol primers at a local dealers, £163.00 ! thats about $218.00 they have almost doubled in price in the last couple of years. Small pistol are the same price. Lead, primers, and powder are getting expensive over here.

Yipes that is quite expensive!!
I just bought 2,000 Winchester Large Rifle (WLR) primers for $90.75 (U.S.D.)
