Sorry, I have to edit this post.  I used the wrong numbers.  I used my expected FPS instead of the ACTUAL FPS.

This is another cartridge that I had never used smokeless powder.  Finally got a day where I could use my chronograph.  It’s been too windy in the canyon. I loaded one round with 22 grains of IMR 4198 for 1300 965 Fps and another with 25 grains for 1450 1256 Fps.  As is common for me I used toilet paper to fill the empty area.  This time I used a wad for over the powder too.   It appears that I need to load some at 23 26 and 24 27 grains.  I’m trying to stay at about 1400 Fps or just a little slower.  I did not shoot at a target.  Once I get in the general range I will shoot more to verify.  At least 10 more shots.
