Tomorrow me and a couple of buddies are headed to the deer field to lay down some doe for eating purposes for the year. Of course, I will be toting my Winchester 70 Featherweight, 2013 model year, sorry, wish I had a more cool one for the occasion.

Good luck! You’re in good company, mine is circa 1977 and has killed more deer, pigs, and pronghorn than I can easily count.

Have a safe trip, time to let that newish smokepole put some meat in the freezer. Those oldtimers we enjoy have likely done the same thing many times over the years.
