OfflineNot in my wheelhouse. Any validity to this info on 30-03 cartridges below?
.30-03 Winchester ammunition is rare and scarce. The cartridge itself is now a rarity, primarily found in collections of rare cartridges. This is due to the short production run of the .30-03 cartridge and the fact that most rifles chambered for it were converted to .30-06.

The ammo is not really hard to find but it was short lived so not a lot out there. The Army went from the 45-70 to the 30-40 Krag around 1894. After the turn of the century they went with the Springfield in 30-03. When the 30-06 came out the Military standardized their ammo and went with the 30-06. The Navy and Marines had taken another route. 45-70 to the Lee Navy to the Krag to the 30-06. Naturally I had to have one WRACo 30-03 cartridge since the 1895 Win was chambered in this cartridge.
