Hey guys I have the Lyman 225438 bullet mold in .224 diameter. It is a round nose bullet in my estimation. Can that bullet be used in a lever rifle?

Thanks

Steve

Most certainly Yes, it can.  The only potential issue would be the weight of the bullet and the OAL of the loaded cartridge.

The weight is 45 gr. I am thinking of a milder load for the lead bullets. I will be using a gas check on them also. For the hornady 218 hp/bee jacketed in .224 I will work up a much faster load but those bullets according to hornady are flat nose.
