Congrats, I enjoy shooting mine! Someday I’ll find one with a better bore but I’ll always like this one. If you’re looking for ammo I’ve found mine likes standard velocity RP or CCI, I think CCI even makes match ammo in 22 Short.

Bert, that was a great article on the Winder.  I have read it 3 times already.

I have added a Winder to my list of wanted 1885’s!

Thanks, I very much enjoyed writing it (actually rewriting it).  One could easily make a decent sized collection of just the many variations and sub variations of the Winder Musket.
