OfflinePosted over on RFC and thought I would try here…was disassembling 2 different model 57’s and noticed there was not a firing pin spring guide or “plug” that fits in to the end of the firing pin spring. Are they missing or did the Model 56 and 57 not come with them? They are used on my Model 67’s and 67-A’s. Appreciate any help guidance you can provide.

OfflineI don’t believe the Model 56 and 57 had a guide plug in the firing pin spring. It does not show up in any Winchester drawings or exploded diagrams.
