Hi All,

I have a Winchester 62 22 short only with the triangle loading port (1946 manufacture) that is missing the inner magazine tube. I am trying to locate a replacement and came across a cheap winchester 72 inner and wondering if it would work in the 62 temporarily until I can find a good original 62 part? they appear to be very close if not interchangable?

The length of the Model 72 tube is 16.46″ and the length of the Model 62 tube is approximately 18″ so a 72 tube would be too short in a 62.

I believe the inner tubes from the 1890 and 1906 will interchange with the 62 or 62A
