Win M62 Smoothbore to be Auctioned|Winchester .22 Rim Fire|Forum|Winchester Collector

Back in September of 2017, I started a thread on a Winchester model 62 marked SMOOTHBORE.

It is serial numbered 103592 which Bert said was serialized in April of 1940.

That gun will be auctioned at Redding’s Auction Service in Gettysburg PA on Sunday November 6th.

We Have Never Seen a Model 62 Smooth Bore. Research Shows There Was Some Made, But Seldom Encountered – Mfg. in 1940”

Redding’s conducts a live auction with onsite bidders plus internet bidders.  Redding’s do not charge a buyer’s premium.

Redding’s will also be offering at the same auction, a Winchester M67 in .22 Long Rifle Shot.  That is lot #8.  I’ll start another thread on that rifle.
