Back in September of 2017, I started a thread on a Winchester model 62 marked SMOOTHBORE.
It is serial numbered 103592 which Bert said was serialized in April of 1940.

That gun will be auctioned at Redding’s Auction Service in Gettysburg PA on Sunday November 6th.

Redding’s conducts a live auction with onsite bidders plus internet bidders. Redding’s do not charge a buyer’s premium.
