Saw that earlier today. I talked to Bruce about this rifle several years ago and he was not quite ready to sell it then. I guess he is now, but it won’t be to me at that price. I have some of Lones Wigger’s presentation rifles and one is a D model that is a twin to this one. Wig told me he never even fired it after he won it.

Yes, the C & D presentation rifles were engraved, while the one E model presentation I own is not. Remington also supplied 40X Internationals for the National “Position” smallbore championships, but they were not engraved. They did have the silver plaque in the stock though.
My nephew owns a fully engraved Model 70 Supergrade Fwt given out to the National Centerfire Bolt Rifle Champion from the 1950’s. It has special wood and profuse engraving on the receiver, bottom metal and barrel along with the silver plaque. It is a fantastic rifle.
