Does anyone have picture of the type of chain that was used on the gallery guns at a carnival .22 shooting gallery? Thanks
Skeet20ga;
Below is a picture of me taken in May or June of 1956 at the shooting gallery in Coney Island and using live ammo.
Prize for hitting the bullseye was you got your picture taken and here it is. The image is backwards. I don’t shoot left hand. Suspect the picture is taken thru a mirror so someone doesn’t hit the camera or the negative got reversed when it was printed or ?
I trimmed the original picture so you can see the chain better. It just looks like a small chain.
Hope this helps.

Great photo & amazing you didn’t loose track of it over the last 65 yrs! What was the rifle?
Clarence,
I sure don’t remember anything about the rifle. I can’t remember either if it was a pump (hammer or hammerless), semi auto, bolt action or whatever. And can’t tell from the photo either.
One thing, my Benrus watch that I got for high school graduation two years prior says it’s about 10:20 PM which meant I had about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get back to the ship.
And yep, I still have the original photo. I don’t have the watch any more tho!
