Hi,
A friend is lending me a 1930’s Winchester model 69, 22 short, 25” barrel (it’s 42” long from end to end).
There are no hard points on the rifle to attach a strap, and I’m seeking suggestions for:
- Any kind of strap that I can buy that would neatly attach to this rifle?
- A good place where I can buy 5 round clips that would fit this rifle?
Thanks!
Although this one is for a shot gun they do make ones for a rifle.

Chuck has pointed you in the right direction with a strap that does not modify the rifle.
Additionally, replacement magazines can be obtained directly from the manufacturer (Wisner’s) for less than the selling price of Gunpartscorp, and, with faster shipping.

And please don’t do anything to modify your friend’s rifle, as it would drastically hurt its value.

I didn’t do any shopping. I just found the first ones I came across. It is amazing what can be found with a simple 2 minute search on the internet.
