I inherited an old model 69. My grandfather bought it for my dad for his 14th birthday. My dad was born in sept 1924. That would make it 1938 when he got it. I believe the gun to be a 1935, 36, or early 37 production. It does not have the changes made in late 1937. The barrel stamping has “patent pending” stamped with the other model 69 barrel markings. Does this make the gun more rare? The gun is in beatiful condition, and I would like to get a proper value. Can anyone help?,
