These little Boys Rifle are just short of amazing. Mine came from Cabelas today and I took it right out to the outback to test it out. Federal 37 GR HP 22 LR’s at 50 yards. Consistent hits, even on some clay pigeons. This rifle has turned brown, but is 100% correct with a minty bore. No cracks in the dark wood stock. Impressed me a bunch. Big Larry
I’m working on one of those for my grand daughters Xmas present. Just a few things left to do and it will be done. This one has a minty bore also, after I installed a new barrel liner…… I chambered it with a match 22LR reamer so it should shoot as well as to be expected with the factory sights. This one got a complete overhaul, I will post a couple pics in a week or two when it’s finished. It was missing the sear spring and it took a bit to track one down, it should be here Friday.

Good luck searching for parts. Sounds like a nice project. If it shoots 1/2 as good as mine, you will have a winner. When my Granddaughter was 16 years old I bought her a M47 single shot. Now at 50, she still has that rifle.
Clarence, there was a time when I could hit Ritz Crackers at 50 yards. I used to paste Necco Wafers on a target and hit them at 100 yards with my M52’s. Maybe still, with a rest and scope. Big Larry
