Guys,

Anyone have a first hand knowledge of what parts will or won’t work between the two models?

The Bolt for sure. The bolt was redesigned for the 63 to handle Long Rifle ammo. Not sure about other parts. Of course the butt stock was not curved on the 63 but maybe the 03’s would fit. Other than that maybe not much was changed.

I bought a frankenchester 63 I’m going to part out. Just wanted to be sure I wasn’t selling someone the wrong parts.

I think the bolts look pretty much same. i have only seen one 03 bolt and it looked like a 63’s. But the weights of the 2 are different, i think.
