What do the scope grooves matter on a gun that can’t be shot or even much handled without detracting from its “unfired” status?  Just something to be hidden away in a dark place.

I sold one in August that did not have the grooved receiver, blueing was mostly gone on the receiver and the wood had normal wear and tear. (no major dings or scratches)  Mine sold for $725

The condition of the one you show far exceeds the one I sold, however with 6 days left on the auction I believe it will sell for more than I would shell out for it. The $65 shipping is a bit steep and then throw in sales tax……….

If I had the choice of the one you sold or the “unfired” one, with the restriction that I couldn’t re-sell it, I’d take the $725 gun without a second’s hesitation.

I think with the recent performance of high condition guns we should expect to see this gun top $2000. I wouldn’t be surprised if a major auction house could get even more out of it. Great shooting little gun. Too bad nobody will likely ever shoot it.
