To make it more like an original, you need a stock NOT cut for a rear sight and a Winchester plug for the front sight. JWA has a very nice one. I know, as I sold him mine. Big Larry
Appreciate the comments Big Larry but I’m pretty happy with having sight both options available on one stock.
Retirement is a little tighter on the wallet now or I would have a few versions in my locker.

Appreciate the comments Big Larry but I’m pretty happy with having sight both options available on one stock.
I didn’t realize the gun could be ordered without the rcvr. sight, but even if that was an option available at the time, I’d have preferred to buy one with the stock inletting necessary to mount that sight, just in case I ever wished to use one. Better to have the factory do it, than the neighborhood gun-butcher.
