Wanted to post a couple of pictures of the “Sightless 69A”.  It shows no signs of ever having a scope or being fired.

Someone went to all the trouble to have a special order, extra cost, 69 built, but never shot it?  Very strange.  A factory experiment?

A “Proto Type”?  I like the way you think Clarence!  Unfortunately without provenance it’s just an anomaly or a “Frankinchester” Wink  RDB
