Model 69 A sight question.

Hi Guy’s,

I picked up a nice 69A here in Australia yesterday. It has a non Winchester scope and mounts. This 69A is grooved for a scope. My question is it has no iron front or rear sights although sight slots are present. What are the correct sights for the 69A, I would like to return this little gem back to its original appearance.

Sounds like you have a catalog nunber G6902R which came with a Winchester 75C front sight and Winchester 32B rear sight. Both sights are usually readily available on eBay.

Let me know if you have difficulty finding the sights down there and I will get them here and either mail them or bring them down to the Sydney area and post them locally (to avoid Customs/import fees).
