Model 67 Rehabilitation|Winchester .22 Rim Fire|Forum|Winchester Collector

I thought I’d share this Model 67 rifle pickup from a local flea market a couple months back. When I saw it, the metal had surface rust and the wood finish was poor. BUT it had Winchester scope blocks! Had to buy it, especially at the selling price of $40.  Got it home and over the next couple weeks I cleaned up the metal and wood. The blocks are marked ‘5’ and after I cleaned the metal, I was able to see that the Winchester proof mark was just forward of the rear block. Surprisingly the bore was mirror bright. 

I’m now on a search for a 5x Winchester scope to complete the project!
