Greetings again here is the Model 67 pickup, I think it came from the same estate as the Model 69 I posted, since they are in similar condition. I have to check my notes, I think I put this one as post war, 1947. Comments, clarifications please.

thx

That is another nice one Steve!

Your rifle was made between 1946 – mid-1949 based on what I see in your pictures.

Thanks for posting the photos!

Nicer than the 69, I believe.  And this is one of the low-cost models most often subjected to careless handling.

I need to see the barrel roll-marking, 67 or 67A?

Congrats, Steven. There’s something about a Model 67, any idea what it is? I was lucky enough to score a very nice one recently and sent a nice enough Junior Rifle south so my brother could introduce his grandkids to shooting in a proper manner. Oddly enough, his name is Steve.

It’s a single shot!  The mystique of “one shot, one kill.”  The kind of gun Stevens, Ballard, Sharps, etc. built their reputations on, even though repeaters were available for those who wanted them.

Maybe, sometimes I think it’s the nickel accents. Or the clean, classic lines.

Steven,

That’s a very nice looking model 67.  Like Mike said, there’s something about the model 67.
