Good evening, I just received a model 63-22 in a multi gun deal and I am looking for some thoughts. It’s a neat little plinker but I’m wondering if I should keep it. I took it to help out a friend who just wanted to get rid of it. She also had a few .22 pistols that made their way into my safe. I’m not a huge .22 fan but there was something about the 63-22. It was made in 1950 according to what I’ve found online. The finish is ok, not great. No rust on any of the steel but there is a crack in the fore end. Is this a keeper? What might it be worth? Thanks all!

Classy little rifle, fun to shoot and very well made. Sold both of mine this year, would not hesitate to buy another.

From the few photo’s provided it appears you blueing has turned to “patina” or brown. Given that and the cracked forearm you are in the 450-550 price range. Very good-fine condition examples will bring closer to a grand. They are great shooters, I’ve got 2 of them. Use high velocity round nosed ammo for best results as far as function.
