Be sure to check the serial number etched into the bolt to make sure it matches the rifle. Big Larry

Oy, I forgot all about that Thanks. I just checked, looks good. Wasn’t that easy to see, I had to wipe the bolt down. I didn’t need anymore bad news tonight.

Steve,
There is no “bad news”, only learning experiences. The Winchester .22’s are every bit as complex and convoluted when it comes to originality as the center fire models but the lessons are MUCH cheaper. Be happy that you are getting an Ohio State University education at community college prices
