I picked up a beautiful model 52C at an auction yesterday. Mounted on it is what I believe to be a Redfield 20X scope that looks like a fine crosshair 3200 series. I’m removing it in favor of the Redfield Olympic-style sights that were included with the rifle. Can anyone tell me anything about the scope such as value or vintage? I usually focus on Winchester skeet and trap guns so this is new to me. Thanks in advance!
They typically sell on eBay for $475 (low) to $600+ (with box and rings). They are a decent scope for the money although I prefer the Lyman Super Targetspot or Unertl for the 52C and later vintage rifles. My earlier rifles have Feckers.

Hurrah! Recreational shooting with irons is increasing rare; at my club it’s rare to see a muzzle-loader without optics.
And why is that, we wonders….? Could it be the median age of the membership is increasing?
